Yesterday I wrote that perhaps Ronaldo didn’t make the right decision when taking the penalty himself instead of allowing Tevez to score his first hat-trick. After having read about the comments from Ferdinand, Giggs and Ferguson regarding Ronaldo’s decision, I must say that my view of the situation has changed.
I agree with all three of them. Ronaldo is the penalty taker and should take the penalty in order to keep his confidence high for more important future penalty kicks and also to keep his current amazing goal scoring run going. Thereby I think that Ronaldo did the right thing, and as it was a great penalty no one can really complain about the decision.

Change of opinion regarding Ronaldo’s decision

After having read about the comments from Ferdinand, Giggs and Ferguson regarding Ronaldo’s decision, I must say that my view of the situation has changed.
